The team is committed to finding resolutions to our built spaces through experimentation, prototyping, making and testing, towards a movement in architecture that can bring harmony to the natural and built environment.
Our curated spaces are designed to enhance the well-being and health of individuals and the wider communities by consciously considering the construction method and sensitively selecting the material. We want to reduce our reliance on heating, cooling and excessive ventilation.
Samir started his Architectural studies in 2010 at the University of Lincoln. His curiosity led him to work in India post bachelors where he was inspired by Mughal Architecture and the rural mud huts. Upon his return to England, completed his masters of Architecture at Lincoln.
Samir then worked in Practice where he was exposed to a variety of sectors including domestic, commercial, industrial, and community-based buildings.
In 2018, Samir took a trip to Auroville, Pondicherry to learn how to build with natural materials, something we lack in modern societies. Upon his return, he practiced in Cambridge where his love of natural materials was encouraged, he also completed his final part of studies and became an Architect in 2023. Samir has always paid attention to the geometry around us and how it is imbedded in nature and tries to reflect this in his buildings.
"It is only in the past century or so where we have stopped taking inspiration from nature in our built environment. With 40% of the worlds waste coming from the construction industry, now is the time to change the way we build".
Raveena’s curiosity for architecture began at a young age when she was exposed to vernacular principles and indigenous traditions of dwelling in India during her frequent visits to her motherland. This was strengthened during her 2nd year in undergraduate studies at London Metropolitan University, where she had a project in India that changed her perception of architecture.
“It was the moment that I realised the impact and effects the work this profession can have on the well-being of humans and that the work of Architect can either help or break a person.” Before continuing her postgraduate degree at De Montfort University, she delved into the professional industry practicing architecture in various sectors including religious, residential, domestic and healthcare. She has an interest in the psychcology of space, material and colour, and looks to natures limitless solutions for the answers."
"I believe that through a conscious and intentional approach to design in architecture, we can promote slow living, that engages the occupants to thinking long term and ultimately provides a joyful environment that is connected to nature".
